Two words.....
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!
I have been in search of a REALLYgood fish and chip place since I moved here over 30 years ago. Long John Silvers was "OK" but it wasn't anything to write home about, especially when you've had better. I thought I had found to suffice (H Salt) but they closed all of my local restaurants!
Well now the food Gods have smiled on me once again. This quaint lil' place was most definitely worth the wait. The fish and the came piping hot and was well-seasoned. I ordered a 3 piece which was a huge mistake because I was full after one piece...needles to say it was quite filling. I also ordered a regular order of cole slaw which was tasty inspite of seemed to be made with some horseradish.
The ambiance of the place was that if a small sports bar. It was very clean and quite inviting. We arrived around 5:30pm and it was empty but it quickly rolled-up by 6!
With portion size and taste considered I HIGHLY recommend London's Fish and Chips! -

Really wanted to like this place because of my love for English style cod fish. The fry on the cod fish was good and crispy but lacked flavor fry's are frozen oysters covered in a big blob of crispy doe... will not be returning...food lacks flavor

Unfortunately I gave this place one star the service was not bad at all. I wanted to no what kind of fish they used I was told Swai fish I never heard of it, but was willing to try I ordered the the combo which came with one piece of fish with this Hugh amount of batter that was way to greasy. The prawns were ok I pulled the batter off the shrimp no seasoning on them. French fries are the ones you buy at you local grocery store will not be returning.

So I'm driving home from work, and I decide to call and place an order. The guy starts to take my order, then he says hold on a second and puts the phone down. He proceeds to take two other people's orders while I'm waiting on the phone. By this time, it's been eight minutes and I'm in the restaurant. I stand behind the people who ordered while I was waiting on the phone until they get their orders, and then finally he asks me how he can help me. I explain to him that I've been on the phone for eight minutes and he never took my order. I tell him that I'm not very happy and that I'm hoping he intends to give me a discount, and he says no, he can't do that. I used to like this place, but under the new owners it sucks.
